Where it began
Modern Living Group was founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Jaryd and Haley Banks.
A second-generation cabinetmaker, Jaryd's passion for the trade began at an early age, spending his school holidays learning the craft and developing the skills that would later shape his own business.
Around the time their first child was born, Jaryd decided to take a leap of faith and establish Modern Living from their family home. In those early days, the business grew purely through word-of-mouth recommendations.
Jaryd's personalised approach, genuine nature and commitment to quality have been at the heart of Modern Living since the beginning. His dedication to creating beautiful, functional spaces and building lasting relationships with customers has helped shape the business into what it is today.
Over the years, with three more children joining the family, Modern Living has grown into a well-established business. Now operating from Southport, its factory is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and manufacturing software, supported by a dedicated team of long-standing staff who share the same commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and quality.
